Troll skull helmet

Postby Keiriku » Mon Jan 08, 2018 10:21 pm

Having an ability to equip troll skull as a helmet (pumpkin-like) would be pretty awesome, it should have some low/mid-tier armor class and possibly give str/con/masonry.
Another possible use is a high-tier helmet that is made of troll skull and high tier materials which will look as something similar to 2nd (full skull used as a helmet) or 3rd (skull is needed as a reference to make horrific, demon-like look) screenshots:

EDIT: For the helm on the second screenshot Troll Hair can be used as one of the materials. While we are on topic, what about troll hide capes...

would be cool

also yeah, i think troll hides and troll bones need a use for crafting too.

also why do troll bones not count as 2 bone ash in kilns? (can say the same for stuff like moose antlers, mammoth tusks etc)

Probably one of the most disappointing moments was finding out that troll parts don't unlock anything. Especially now that they're so, so much more common.

Not a bad idea!

Trolls are generally lower q than bears/deer/moose/mammoths and their bones/hides aren't used for anything specific

It would be nice to see some unique crafts that use the troll materials. Maybe if we get all the pieces (nose/eye/ears/etc) we could make some super weird looking decoration or symbol item? lol

I like this idea! They'd look funny, considering their sizes.

+1 to that

Even with cave hermit creedo trolls are still by far the most rare of enemies, not to mention the most powerful, unique items from their parts would be nice.

Well to be fair had you had the patience to tan a troll hide you would have discovered it converts strait to hardened leather.
