bone javelins

self explainatory. i love hunting. i want to see it expanded upon. i doubt many people love spears as much as i do, but id like to see some javelins specially made for throwing and a pack you can use to carry more, maybe a pack that fits in the belt slot that holds 8 more javelins.

crafted from 2 bough, bone material and string. obviously this would do less damage than arrows but the damage should scale with strength and accuracy should scale with both perception and dexterity.

while im at it, a superior javelin made from boar tusks would be nice. as well as a spear made with walrus tusks.

perhaps thats too much to talk about in one thread, but i really want to see polearms and thrown weapons expanded upon.

yeah I love spears, to one shot bats early on they are great :D ... also I'd love if ranged weapons would be the way to hunt, so I like it.

Wouldn't mind this.

I am all for more weapon and armor additions, just as long as they are made viable instead of one path is best.

i never implied that one path should always be best. where did you get that from? if anything these javelins would be much worse than arrows, they're just easier to acquire and use early world. and allow people with high strength a ranged option.

in the name of my selfish desires, by the power manifest from my worthless daydreams of glorious hunts i command this thread to RISE! RISE! RIIIISE!

this thread necromancy exists because i don't have my javelins yet.
