Remove "eat" option for troll eye

Postby Dakkan » Wed Jan 17, 2018 4:09 am

Normally I don't like the idea of removing features, but troll eyes shouldn't be edible. The "peer into" function is their biggest feature, and what makes them desired. No one wants to fodder a troll eye, but I've heard it happening by accident. And with the food system in place, even though it's an amazing food you'll still only get +1 attribute, so it isn't even a good food option since you're not going to be eating them in bulk.

I'm against it being a curio as well, but less that the food issue.

Any idea relating to trolls is an instant +1 from me.

+1

OR..... make a new mechanic where eating the eye has a chance of it permanently becoming a part of you, and thus being able to be "peered" at.

Cool counter-argument.

Where is the fun in that, I ask myself?

... you say it like it's a bad thing?

I don't know if fun is the right word there, jorb.
