New animal idea: European Bison

Technically stronger than Moose, not very fast but very beefy in hp and very strong attack damage. Peaceful type of mob.
Would drop 3 skins and could be technically the only animal to be in packs with their young which have lower quality than adults and drop suckling's maw - on rare occasions. (I know that chickens spawn with chicks).

Could possibly unlock bison coat and replace bear skin for chieftain's hat and boar tusks. Other crafts also available. The animal should drop it's horns too, as curio and crafting material (late game horned helmet?).

i believe that is what the Auroch is meant to be. Originally in legacy, if im not mistaken, they were in packs, and attacking one, meant attacking all. A poor death for the would be hair plucker lol

Not entirely sure what the difference between aurochs and european bison indeed is.

However auroch and bison are different species,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_bison

look at their posture. Bison is taller and more bulky at the front, their head is sorta different from cows. Those articles should help.

This image might also help, top is american bison, middle european bison, bottom auroch

i mean, im all for more content, do not get me wrong, but unless there is a meaningful distinction between the two, with a biome difference or something. I'm not sure we just add it for the sake of it, lest we dilute the goodness that is haven.

Ah, I see. They are living in forests (mixed ones meaning both needle and leaf trees), wetlands and moutains. Could always limit them to 3 biomes and make them rare, Mammoth style.
