Swimming horses?

I know it was suggested for a couple of times but pls! They should be able to cross rivers. Maybe that should depend on stamina or endurance or a new stat specifically for swimming. It is ok if they cant at basic q10 but lets say it should be 10 per tile so it takes quite a while to breed them so they can cross some small rivers.
I know that boats with rafts could be used but that is a bit annoying

Maybe they should be attached by a rope so one cant sit on them while crossing the river and has to have enough con to cross too.

You ment rafts, didn't you? Or did you refer to boats as they're needed to carry the raft (that is needed to ferry the horse) from one shore to the next at a reasonable speed ?

Giving horses a good pony power drain while swimming (and cement shoes should they run out, plus halved swimming speed afterwards as you're pulling a corpse on the leash) would give plenty of opportunities for accidents...
