I've played haven on and off for 4 years and i've sunk some time into world 10 now. My question is, would the game be too easy if animals like Moose or Deer acted more like real life when getting shot from a bow or sling? I just find it sad that hunting animals is mainly done by horseback and melee. Getting them to flee then chasing them down quickly. IMO it would be way more engaging if animals where shy of players(much like the Lynx) and you'd have to level stealth to get close enough to get a shot, the animal would then run away and stop further away, forcing the hearthling to track the beast down to repeat the process. This would give even peaceful players a reason to level stealth(and actually use bow and arrow instead of melee which seems to be better in every way
