Stomping ground

If you walk above some tiles too often, they become dirt tiles. Kind of like paths form on places that have high traffic on them. They would revert back to the original biome tiles if the movement above them would stop.

Do you worry that nicely landscaped village will turn to wasteland with this sort of change?

I run around yard all day as child and grass still grow fine.

I think idea could be neat, but amount of steps for it to dirt must be high for me. Maybe manual plant grass can be more hardy to the steps, or we can have some hardy grass alternate to plant.
