advanced rods

i remember the days when we had "primitive" casting rods. and such. the word was taken out but the implication was that better fishing rods were on the way. but since that idea seems to have been abandoned im gonna drag it back into the light.

i want advanced fishing rods that average the quality of the fish caught between the rod and the node. the advanced bait rod would take 2 tree bough 2 leather 2 blocks 3 string and a wrought iron bar.

the advanced lure rod would take 2 hard leather 4 tree bough 2 blocks 5 string 1 SILK cloth and one steel bar.

and both would require the fishermans credo to be completed in order to use.

and yes the quality of the rod is averaged against the quality of your line, hook and bait/lure in order to get the quality that is averaged against the fish node.

yes it would, thats the idea. fish qualities are a joke. and im tired of using q200 bread and higher on q18 fish....

Could be neat, but hardly a priority. I agree that fishing could use a buff, and that the quality lags behind.
