Since the potter credo quests have us make unfired clay items i would like to suggest a new large item: Clay Bin.
In mundane pottery, the method of reclaiming clay is to soak it in water until it dissolves into a liquid called slip, then straining it to get larger impurities out such as sand or foreign matter. then it gets laid out on anything from a normal table to a plaster slab so that it can dry to a workable consistency. after that you have to wedge it(like kneading dough) in order to get all the air out.
with that information, I would like to suggest the following on the Clay bin:
The clay bin would be designed as essentially a table beside a barrel.
It would act as a workstation, it could use the empty handed dig animation or possibly the dig, turn, and drop animation from landscaping.
It would have a reservoir for water and pull unfired clay items out of your inventory and convert them to x number of acre clay.
Alternatively, it could operate similar to the way the compost bins do and allow any clay or unfired clay item to be put into it and will produce 1 acre clay every so often.
I chose acre clay because it is possible to exhaust the acre clay deposits while all other clay sources refill(ball, pit), are foraged(gray, cave), or created(Bone, Potter's).
