Hi there.
I am WarlordToby. I started playing this game a rough week ago with my friends Joe, Wizard, Grinch and Prod and surely got more plans to bring three more. However;
We are rather displeaced by the fact things take so long in this game. We love the fact you spawn to this world with basically nothing on you and that cutting trees is time consuming just like gathering materials and building houses is.
What really bothers me, us all, is the fact that many things can take hours. Heck, even days or weeks. To get to things, you are forced to go far and wide just to find things like, for example, bough. We agree that heavy labor things should take long but are absolutely disgusted by the fact that earning XP and LP takes so terribly long just like making charcoal, growing crops and basically everything. We skipped the entire "getting clothed" phase since we just happened to find some metals.
Just some background about our stuff; We have played for few days but never found a place to settle UNTIL now. We have been threatened for small things such as "blocking a road" (Got a warning from two high-tier russian players and forced us to leave half-built settlements behind) and we find it incredibly unfair that it is hard to match them. It would take us months of playtime, even if there are many of us, simply because they have had time to put to this game and to create high-quality equipment. We can't even beat simple wilderness animals, no matter how much we would try. There are guides about tricking the animals and whatnot but that seems bit off and well, less realistic and rather stupid way to solve things those should be easier in the first place.
TL;DR
Lowering all process times would be better. Allowing one to get more XP and LP in quicker time. Studying should be faster. Things are too spread around i.e small amounts are offered. Also, a small note; How about stacking things like branches? You can actually carry a huge pile of branches if you just stacked them instead of just, eh, carrying them in their invidual inventory space.
