I'm not sure what the point of this thread is, but A) needs a better title, and B) needs to be a bit more to the point of what you actually want. Are you expressing your concern your real life skills aren't able to be applied in a video game? Yeah, I was kinda pissy about my shredding skills not being accurately reflected in my scores on Guitar Hero, too. I had to learn how to use a whole new way of rocking out... but you know: if you're good, not that much harder to learn another way.

Point being: might want to suggest a good way of implementing such a thing without needing specialized hardware. Maybe you just need to put a mic or pickup on your instrument so you can play for people over the Internet instead of wanting something specialized in a game.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Its more of a meme but adding support to plug in a mic and instead having it transfer into the game or what ever would be cool

Which would be, by definition, a voice chat inside the game.

Old suggestion with plenty of stuff that could (or would, given that some players already went the extra mile to annoy others with the build in instruments) go wrong.

Not sure what the suggestion is here.
