Buff clay containers.

Clay containers need to be buffed!
There are reasons:
1. You need to fire them in kiln - a hard process
2. It gives less space than new, easer crafted containers

Please buff them somehow, for example let them be unique container:
1. Can be used as container with slots
2. Can be used for liquids

Or also can be used as stockpile-kind container. For example you can hold up 60 any meat in urn.

+1 to this, noticed all the clay containers while doing the potter's credo and realized I've never seen any used in game. Early game they are outclassed by crates, late game they are outclassed by chests. Looking through the container options I think quite a few could use buffs to put them on par with the competition.
(once and futue king btw)

maybe pots can be used to store meat or to make salted meats 1 pot, couple salt and add meat and let it sit somewhere

Disagree, you can stack easily 3 urns in the "same space". After you build your kiln they're really easy to craft, easier than crates imo

An Urn is identical to a Crate, but you can store around 3-6 in the same space a Crate takes up. Plus, they look nice.

They're pretty worth it imo.

I agree Pots should be buffed, or made unique in some way though.
Total misplay.

Maybe the amount of space should depend on quality?

Maybe a container that stores 4-5 urns and you can open all with just one screen?

yeah I think fostik has the right idea: clay containers should be used as liquid containers.

however, barrels should now also require metal nuggets as well.

Making barrels require metal and urns some lower volume liquid storage would be nice indeed.
