Crafting Automation Worstation

Well, Hello! I'm seeing now and then some requests about automation and craft speed. So, here is my suggestion.

Create a workstation that works like barter stands "hands". You put 7-10 hands each container (like a cupboard) and, when crafting something on the station, they would pick from their respective container and craft. Also, it would be good if the workstation increased the crafting speed for like 10% on q10, 20% q40 and so on.

About crafts that already uses other stations ( like anvil or cauldron), I guess they should not be automated like this.

Why this suggestion? I think in a welll organized community you will have "a workstation" for each craft. It's probably that you would not change the hands for each container, but they will be more likely just let the hand sit on each respective container for each craft.

For the craft materials, it should have many types of materials, since it's a generic worsktation. So: block of wood, board, bone glue, rope, stones and cloth.
So, what do you think?

I have entertained similar ideas about... idk... some structure to concentrate access to resources. Might happen if we find the right implementation for it.

This idea is not bad, and likely the quickest to automation/speed/coding for crafting.

But this is also slightly to much, hands would be every where. and alot of things
-loom
-rope walk
-churn
-ect

don't use a crafting bench.

I see what you're trying to do.

but something like this needs to be attached to end game building.
and a little more polished then hands in everything.
a system that checks all items in every inventory, like a radius bench.
and all objects (for butching) and such and such.
