animal skeleton priorty

Postby synaris » Sun Feb 18, 2018 5:16 am

this is just a request to focus on adding animal skeletons into the game again. i miss em. and no matter how much i suppress it, i still have the urge to pick up those high quality bones as quickly as possible before they vanish. just like the entrails. seriously those fuckers dont last 5 seconds.

it wouldnt bother me if i instead saw a skeleton that i knew would last for a few hours. i could get everything sorted in waves. all the skins, then all the meat/intestines, then all the bones. just like i used to.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

Ah yes, it would be nice if animals left skeletons to collect the bones from. Especially on larger creatures. +1

+1 especially if no decay on claims and slow decay in forest/wild

"sounds like a lot of work" - jorb probably

Should still add them. They are important!

Yeah, should probably start working on those.

Bumperino.

hopefully progress on this front has been made. The lack of animal decay tends to break my suspension of disbelief when I pass an abandoned settlement with 50 dead cows.

How long do the skeletons last right now? Could it be made bit longer since I'd assume bones rot lot slower than hide and meat.
