Bundling Wrap and Tube

An idea I present that I'm sure some might enjoy more then others is a bundling wrap. The idea behind this would be that some items that decay, can be preserved for at least a little bit longer before having to go through the difficulty of finding them again, such as ancient roots for example.

Bundling Wrap-
Crafted from paper, wax, and some string, it can contain one target object to be kept fresh from decay for twice as long.

Storage Tube-
Crafted from 3 Bronze/Iron/Tin, this creates a small metal tube that will open a small window and hold up to 2 items inside it. Right click to seal it with the end cap that was also made (hence the three bars rather then 2) and it will keep the items inside from decay for four times as long.

The caveat to annoy people: These items don't have a name or one you can edit. Once sealed, short of keeping track of it yourself, there is no way to know whats inside. Plus, it takes a hammer to open the metal tubes as they are sealed shut tight when screwed on (to prevent the decay for as long as they do).

i wouldnt mind this, but i gotta ask. why bronze/iron/tin? is something wrong with copper that makes it unfit for a sealed tube?
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

Not really. I just couldnt think of the word for copper at the moment I made this post for whatever reason. Could totally work.

I have had similar thoughts, but I'm not sure it needs a special item. Could make it location based such as items in a cellar, or the like.
