a use for volvas wand

yeah, im hoping to catch jorb while he's looking at suggestions. i was hoping to think this through a bit more first, but since he's on the forum.

i wanted volvas wand to power up hearth magic, or reduce the exp cost depending on its quality. it would only work while equipped and have a limited number of uses. it could even react differently to different spells. say it could make the casting cost of kindle completely free at the cost of 2 wear.

or its affects could be altered based on gems that were attached? or said gems could be attached to a new type of wand/staff altogether.

sorry for being vague, but i FUCKING LOVE magic in games. and i have never seen haven have proper spells in it until this world.

i really like the idea of seers or mystics being as integral to a village as farmers ect though.

Again, I don't hate entirely having certain items or whatnot which could power up your magycks. There are, however, several candidates for items that could be used for that purpose. Need to mediatate a bit on that.

im gonna throw out that dreams are too easy to get for a purpose like this. i hope you can meditate out a new source of magic for hearthlings that would justify an amplifier for spells. perhaps tamed animal souls could be bound somehow?
