My argument against is that we already have the 3-4 extra skills that boost tree farming. Why more? (My opinion: get rid of the skills as they are, add in a second tier credo or such for what the skills do, and if there are unlocks other than the "credo boosts" such as curios, combat, and others, then rework the skills for their decreased importance.)
That said, I'm sure it'll probably happen, and I'm not against it, as I do like the credo system for the most part. Plus, we have the miner credo along with those skills, too, that improve that aspect of the game without stepping on each other. I like some of the ideas, like forcing or restarting tree growth, and the decreased running stamina (though that then makes it necessary for pvp).

I know jorb looks at all the ideas, and probably loftar, too, so the moderation staff has always done our best to keep them from looking at the same idea multiple times. Some of the ideas come up so frequently that the same ideas are posted over and over again and it's obvious nobody has bothered looking them up. Others don't come up so often so it's hard to remember about them. If I spot duplicates, I merge them. I have a good memory, but it's not perfect, so if someone spots identical ideas or similar topics, point it out.
