Apply Custom Sketches to Existing Equipment

Kind of like what the title says. Could it be made that sketches be applied to equipment after it is crafted maybe through another crafting recipe so we can customize our equipment? Like I would be much more apt to use custom sketches if I could apply it to my nice gilded clothing because I cannot make 1k sketches in hopes that one piece of gilded clothing has it and there are even shops at CF that sell some pretty cool sketches that I am just reluctant to buy because I cannot apply it to my existing equipment. I feel like more people in general would use sketches and have more variety if this was an option and really expand on this part of the community.
