Infinite rarity

For several reasons which include trade, larp, collection and showing off, it would be interesting if the game had a few things that are extremely rare.

Wild flowers, for example: we have blood stern, edelweiß, bluebells, chamomile and wintergreen, each being increasingly rarer to find.

What I'm suggesting is that a few more are added to that list, to the point that even in late worlds there's always something that's difficult to find, regardless of hq industry and 5 digit stats. This could apply to other stuff too, not only flowers.

i have to agree. the game is sorely lacking in end game content. i think the PVE content has the highest priority though. as it would prevent raiders from attacking others out of bordom for a while.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

I think jorb has express some interest in looking at foraging as whole to make it more relevant for later game.

So something similar to the whale? (which should probably get a big buff with how rare it is)

Not really since you have to be fishing to get the whale. I mentioned forageables like flowers because they're kinda secondary to map exploration, since you get them while doing something else, and because they have some appeal, a lot of variety, and many possible uses too.

More rare things could be sweet, but there's also the case to be made that the latter game content that noone ever sees is the worst possible use of our time. A balance to be struck somewhere, I am certain.
