A globe world?

Wouldn't it be amazing?
That was Attas's idea to make a pic and I re-made it kinda

i wrapped world would be neat, but then it leaves no actual room for expansions to the map. thats the issue. Tho with a world like this, i would still like to see more climates, oceans, and continents.

It looks realistically difficult. How about a Cylinder or similar?

I like the idea of the world wrapping around, because of many reasons. For example, there would not be world corners.

Also, just walking and then stopping on an invisible wall is kind of stupid!

I dont think that map expansions are an issue. How many times the current world has expanded during the last year?

Perhaps there are some problems with how the technical side would be done? But I think that a some way around can be found. (pun intended)

i dont want a world that wraps around, i want infinite expansion as the playerbase keeps growing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

could be just a matter of linking extreme opposite map tiles

corners being a special case

in this system expansion would probably be the same as usual
