Fish closed nodes

Postby Aceb » Sat Mar 03, 2018 5:09 pm

Allow us to increase quality of fish inside closed water bodies (with no connection to river or any larger water body).

A new structure (Production & Processing), called aquarium maybe? where You can throw fish with some kind of food that will allow it to rise in quality, then after sometime (few days or week), dump the content of aquarium into closed water body, increasing quality of fish inside of it for a month. If there was nothing done to it for a month, quality starts to detoriate back to it original quality unless, each week someone try to increase (or decrease) quality again.

Artificial pond where you have to feed fish similary to chickens/rabbits. In fact, they fish should breed at the speed of rabbits (ridiculous!) to not make fishing any worse than it is. Maybe some of fish make edible caviar?

But I think this was also proposed before.

Has been proposed before. Could consider, but also not entirely sure how to feel about that. I have to feel that the main source of fish should be the wild.

That's why it is about only closed water bodies. Rivers and big water bodies would stay as those are. Just some people could create a cool fishing spots. Maybe overtime a cool enough that there would be fights for it?

Generally, I don't see why it would be a big problem, while a cool feature.

Or fish quality could be related to the node quality * (0.1)*Rod quality, or something like that. Similar to rock crystal, where the best you can get is still limited by other industries and capped by skills as well.

Could be fun to somehow trap fish in a small channel or pool of water Hatchet style, by simply using a decent amount of sticks and dirt/clay on a fish node.

Could slowly increase quality, or just make it so it's easier to catch fish in that pool. Would also keep the fish alive, meaning free food preservation in the event food spoilage is ever implemented.
Total misplay.
