journal curio

perhaps not a journal but a book of some sort.

2 leather 10 parchment 1.00 of any dye, or ink if it ever gets added again, and one bone glue. make it softcapped by intelligence and lore.

im trying to come up with uses for the intelligence stat. its bullshit as to how useless it is endgame.

It's not like intelligence is used to determine your attention and how many stuff you can study at all...

Endgame int is just to hide your tracks, 'endgame' int is just to study only the biggest curios you can possibly muster. It's not that hard to reach 'endgame' though.

Arguably, what's perception for and exploration other than some crafts. Some skills are kinda useless to even consider leveling past certain point.

that is exactly why i called it useless in endgame. endgame int is like, 200. maybe 225. the only use it has beyond that is for covering scents as you said.

can any of you actually comment on the curio itself?

I wouldn't see journal as curio per se. Level up from basic parchment descriptions maybe in which you write all your knowledge about everything. Little something for people who complain about 'rediscovering' stuff after death. And also to help rediscover stuff on updates.

Also aren't you a prick.

I like it! It would look sweet on a study desk. Maybe it would need a feather too. And maybe string for the binding.

I'd love to see more book type stuff in-game in general.

I think books should be something more than just a curio.
