At this point, I would really want to know the reason why devs ignore this. Or do they think it's not a big deal? There's clearly a problem when people intentionally kill their characters just to get that buff.

Btw, are u sure that they not doing so just to make less amount of annoying quests, that required to obtain another new credo?
And just use this abuse as some consolation prize.
I'm stuck on some quest to obtain my 4th credo, and i'm really start think, that some intentionally deaths of my char is a cheaper price, when i think about all this additional quests that awaits me in future.

Or like, remove the Einherjer and just bring back boar snuff and other boost drugs. No? Use ancestors for something else.

What if enherjer couldn't boost stats above the ancestor's stats? This way you could gain something out of the loss of a character but not give incentive to intentionally kill them.
