Coal mining disease

If you mine a lot of coal, you should get somekind of lung related disease, it could give permanent agility penalty.

Black lung, it is.

100% trolls I dug were from coal. It's a big enough disease for me.

Are we even have any disease implemented here? Infected wounds - yes, disease - not meet any until now.
If developers ever want to add them they just should say so - i'm sure that almost everyone here can propose some idea about nasty, easy to catch and troublesome disease).

Neither do figuratively and literally.

permanent penalty sounds dumb. Bad idea, bad you
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Yeah, no.

I'd be fine with some generic mining "disease" debuff, just mine all day and eventually you'll "yearn to see the sun again" or something, and you can't mine anymore until it goes away. But a lung disease for mining an essential resource just sounds dumb.
Total misplay.

Can we seriously stop adding shit to the game that makes mining more AIDS? It's already super duper fun to mine a tile and spawn 10 slimes. Stop. Seriously.
