I want a house for my plants, with windows on all sides for the sun. Cupboards will decay in this house, but you can grow outdoor plants inside in pots. Perhaps just a second floor but no basement. It could take a ton of glass to build, but no metal.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

We have glass and glass lens after all - really why we still can't build greenhouse then? Nice useful building that (for example) required high Q glass and can let grow herbs faster or plant herbs that currently cannot be planted in pots even with gardener credo, and mb even let raise q of crops here faster with using high q soil and water (i will gladly buy hat that will come in a bunch with building that will provide at least one of this possibilies).
Someone may live here if he want (but without this indoor decay stuff ofc - cause it annoying), even if for me wish to do so looks strange - great hall is much more convenient for living here for sure.
If main point just wish to have house with windows then it was promised by developers already (when structure of houses become fully customizable by player if my memory not failed me).

+my wote to this idea. But it's was suggested many time. And i doubt that will be implemented until new free building system is become in live. :(

a greenhouse is for plants that need certain climate conditions, but this house just has lots of windows for outdoor plants to get sunlight, there is no temperature manipulation, so it's a sunhouse
