putting stolen goods back

weak argument for this, i know. but i'd like people to be able to put stolen goods back if they took them by mistake to remove the scents. ALL stolen goods must be put back and it should be within a timeframe, say 10 seconds?

this would prevent CERTAIN villagemates of mine from becoming redhanded when they misunderstand what i tell them to test.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

As long as they have to be put back where they came from (so it can't be used to sort the loot for free)... sounds reasonable.

Something like short window to right click -> return item sounds reasonable.

putting down a stockpile of rope to get vandalism for 4 days is the equivalent of hitting a chicken in skyrim and getting killed by a guard
+1 to the general idea

Yeah, and try to formalize a definition for exact restoration for mild benefit. I see where you're coming from, but no thanks.
