I often see how people complain that food system is broken. Satiations are usually second thing that is typed. First thing is -> You can eat as much as You can produce or others provide.
I like how satiations work and don't see it broken together with the bonus of 300%, 200% and so on.
I wanted to give You a proposition of making a limit to how much character can eat. The limit would be 100 multiplied by number of ingame days.
Each piece of food fills some off that limit. If limit is reached, character cannot eat more or foods gives only energy and 0 stats.
This system would have to come with new world, as currently it would make titans un-catch-able in any form of way or try. All characters would share this limit, despite being new or old.
To expand this further, if old player had to waste his satiations for early energy in form of berries, maybe make a numen thing that allow You to regain 20% of limit, when You were eating at 100%, 50% etc., as one time thing. Same for ancestor einherjar or whatever it is. I see this as two hidden values (% of limit fille when eating on 300% and 200%, second one for 100%, 50% and forward), that are seperate but added, are equal to how much character have eaten.
Also, make a water as a drink, that satiates nuts and mushrooms.
