Shepherd's Crook: Pass through livestock

Postby Dakkan » Wed Mar 14, 2018 6:15 pm

Item: Shepherd's crook.

Equipping it allows the user to pass through livestock's bounding box. Or maybe shove them around? Or allows more overlap or something.

You can already pass through dead slime bounding boxes so it's possible at least.

If person X can pass through some bounding boxes that person Y cannot pass, I guess it could be used for blocking purposes and such.
Everyone would have to start using shepherds crooks with their fighters. It would look quite comical though. Bunch of sheepherders running around hitting each other.

I want to see that too. Or the shepherd crook could just not function if the user is in combat.

+1, this sounds pretty nice even with the combat caveats. Could just make it drop from your hands when in combat to remove everyones imagined future issue with this.

Wouldn't mind the crook, though perhaps the suggested purpose.

Shepherd's crook

Shepherd's crook would be a staff that you can equip. While equipped, you could make AOE shoo, so all animals around you would run away from you. It could maybe also be used as a blunt weapon, which we need more of.
