It is quite annoying taking seeds into the inventory one by one and then to the press

Possibly an easier alternative would be to let the press pull pressable objects from your inventory?

Most processing stations already work like that.

Alternative/indirect way to address this would be any system that would let you simply, for example, right click flax seeds bucket into empty inventory slots to easily create new seed stacks to simply shift-move to the press.
