chopping blocks with a butchers knife?

why is this a thing? technical limitation or oversight? i cant imagine it being feasible to chop lumber with a butcher knife in real life so.... why in game?
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

Mb cause we still can swim in full plate armor set, u know?
And do many other much more unbelievable (from in real life possibility point of view) feats.

because it's a pain to switch tools for every little thing you need to do, and belts and inventories are not exactly generous

you should try Salem, it's exactly the game you want Haven to be

Have 2-3 exquisite belts and you'll have all the tools you might need at your fingertips.

afaik a butchers knife is the same as a metal axe, just longer edge in design

butcher's knife takes stronger metal aswell, 2 wrought iron vs 1 any hard metal. butcher's knife is an upgrade to the metal axe, only thing wrong is a 'artists view' or design which is just an opinion and my opinion is it makes sense and is balanced

It's a butcher's cleaver, not a knife.
