New armor boots

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

New armor boots

I was thinking of new shoe type of armor with more durability than current ones, first obvious choice is plates but I was thinking of a mix of leather + metal. Fable-style chainmail shoes.
Something sorta like this:
