a reasonable distance from any claimed land, let banshees rise to haunt old battlegrounds. let these tough bitches be akin to above ground trolls in strength. but growing stronger the more hearthling death is in their particular haunting ground.

im trying to think of ways to prevent them from being farmable. seeing these bitches shouldnt be a guarantee, perhaps they cant spawn in areas that are often loaded? perhaps the area needs a LOT of decay before they even have a chance to appear?

eh, fair enough?

banshees are supposed to be heralds of death, so they must have some relation to it in order to make sense.

There's numerous mystical creatures from nordic/germanic/slavic mythologies and folks beliefs. Could also think of something else, this one seems rather too rare to bother?

i specifically wanted it because its rare. not enough emphasis on em and no game i can think of where a banshee is truly dangerous. save one of those old adventure games where everything killed you instantly.

May do stuff like that at some point. Rusalkas have been a long standing wish of mine.

I would like it to take into consideration all existing graves on surface when spawning. I had one time an idea to build a public graveyard just for fun.

And well if it would give some rare loot or something, I'm sure people would like to make a lots of graveyard here and there just for a bigger chance of it spawning.
