bacon is merely a specific cut from the pig. so, either let us obtain bacon when butchering any pig, or let us cut up 1-2 slices of pork into bacon so we can make dishes that use it. like improved omelettes and bacon sandwiches.

give us mayonaise for those sandwiches while you're at it. just needs eggs and oil right?

Bacon is usually pork belly, but has far more to do with the specific curing process used to make it. You don't just cut up a dead pig and get "bacon" off its corpse.
