Furniture and carpentry credo for furniture

following the recent discussion on expanding the economy and also this thread viewtopic.php?f=48&t=58429&p=774926#p774926
I got the idea of maybe encouraging a new part of the in game market by having the bed you sleep in (and limit this to one bed per room) collect certain bonuses from the decorations and furniture in the room, giving bonuses to the player while sleeping.

In order to not be broken, you wouldn't want it to draw buffs from 50 chairs placed around the room, so maybe only consider the best item of each type placed in the room.
Bonuses could be increasing rate of travel weariness reduction, or healing wounds slightly faster. Maybe even studying curios a bit faster or reducing hunger faster (only if feasting is nerfed tremendously first).

There could also be a credo that extends lumberjack which gives bonuses to carpentry and also bonus quality when crafting furniture (to give more bonuses).

tl;dr my idea is make decorations like symbel for your bed.

Myeah, idk. We've been toying with the sims-like idea of a meter for the pleasantness of surroundings since for ever (happiness was intended to factor this in in Legacy), but I'm not sure how much fun it actually is. Kind of sucks if you have to optmizie every room and can't use anything for pure creative decoration.
