New Bard Credo unlocks ability to sing with voice, no instrument equipped?

Related, some sort of bard abilities have been discussed elsewhere as a potential support role in combat.

Should that come: an option to gag bards and tie them to trees (asterix style and for the same reasons).

I like a Bard credo, at least. And Mongolian throat singing is pretty cool.
