Localization can be done as a custom client implementation if players truly want it.
Developing a system for localization, and centralizing all text strings in any way resembling something nice, is a very invasive operation.
Maintaining the totality of the text mass of the game is already ardous, and adding additional language support introduces multiples to that task.
We have no ability to provide accurate translations to Russian or Chinese, or really much of anything, and would have to rely on external support.
All in all, we would, in implementing localization, be working to increase our future workload, for the unclear and unproven benefit of perhaps gaining more players from specific countries.
All in all, never going to happen unless Haven becomes something larger by orders of magnitude than it presently is, and even then I'd be extremely skeptical.
As far as advertising goes we have a mild social media effort going, and that seems sufficient considering the present state of the game. If the game is good enough I see no reason why it shouldn't spread by word of mouth.
