Leashed rope priority in building

Please, make it so that if You have 30 ropes in You inventory, it doesn't use up first the ones that are leashing animals at the moment. Make them being targeted as last ones.

There seems to be a theme of ropes being used accidently in crafting.

I suggest an actual craftable leash tool distinct from rope. Would solve a lot of problems.

True, but then again the simpler thing, playability wise, is to ignore ropes being used as leashes. I would imagine it's more work than implementing a diff unique item, ie leash.

As leashed rope only has meaning in a the player hand/inventory and can't exist somewhere else (like in the world): possibly jorb could make another 2D image for currently leashed ropes so these are a different object (that dosn't count as rope) while in use. This would solve the issue with building it accidentally and give the player visual feedback which rope is in use as a leash should one carry multiple ones.

Rope + 2x hide strap + string = rope+collar (leash) ?

Complained about here as well. No good fix.

This is a different thing though, revolves more about making the 'used as leash' state have consequences: disable it while currently being used as a leash for crafting/building.

Having a 'used as leash' rope be a different item (could be same image with different name or, if the graphics artist would come up with something nice, even have a distinct picture to make it directly visible to the player) could be a solution to this problem.
