Glass Harmonica? o3o

Heya I was just wondering if using glass along with other appropriate materials could some day allow us to make a hydrocrystalophone, aka glass harmonica. I'd wager they'd have to be like a potter's wheel and less like the handheld flutes, banjos, etc. Maybe they can be wheeled about or something if needed, otherwise it'd be stationary. Would be pretty neat and they sound lovely.
