choosing what we use

why in the hell cant i choose to use the elderberries for fruit pies instead of the apples? theres no option. it just automatically selects things. can't we at least be able to right click vthat variable ingredients icon in the crafting window to choose only ONE thing to use.

how much shit have we wasted because the game chose the wrong thing when we wanted to craft something?
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

I agree to that to some degree but You have to remember it highlight what it is gonna use in recipe, compared to filling up objects with something.

i just lost some apples in my inventory while crafting pies out of berries in a cupboard. if i blink, shit gets wasted.
