Game is too easy

I'm not afraid of starving. It's ... well, relatively easy to not starve.

I'm not afraid of getting killed by wild animals. They will just KO me.

The only thing I'm really particularly afraid of are other hearthings (this is fine/good, no change necessary here imo.)

And resources necessary for building anything are too easy to get.

Just existing in the world is .... not very hard to do. It should be more challenging. Starvation should always be just around the corner if one finds oneself in a bad situation. Enough food to stay at normal function should be more of a sacrifice to give to someone hungry.

ETA: Of course in a sandbox game there are limitless interesting, fun things to do; that's not the part I'm discussing here but I do want to acknowledge that part. There are plenty of things in-game that aren't too easy, imo, but the things I mentioned in this post I feel are too easy.

This game isn't called don't starve, and you can die if you are constantly fighting animals. Eating is part of progress in this game, deal with it.

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I have always wanted some global cataclysm that would send swarms of monsters on villages. Let's have them once in 3 months! That would make everything hardcore enough and make people want to group up.

Where you most likely don't actually starve but are just tempted into doing stupid things (that then get you killed) by looking at your hunger meter...

imho game going not to ppl group up, but everyone will have 3-8 verified accounts with macros (like in la2 10chars party from 1 PC)

yes! crush everything, bring it on. I want the boars back from world 7 that stomped your guts out on the sandy shores because they could reach you in the shallows after they knocked you out lol. Add a chance for the felled tree to fall the wrong way due to poor carpentry and squish the feeble players. World events, a blood moon, creates some alpha wolf that roams the lands eating poor hearthlings in packs. Moar death! blood for the blood god!

Bring back blood, hearthlings must leak like in legacy. Stain the lands red! When do we get the cave trolls that abduct you and drag you back into their lairs?

obviously some of this is an exaggeration, but the gist of it is simple, game needs to be harsh like it was before, i think it creates a certain charm to be brutally punished
