Haven & Hearth world starts are always exciting because you have the balance between the tension and release/idleness when you do not have to worry much about catching up. I have been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance which became boring quite soon for the same reasons. In Hafen, you start quickly, wait for the mass planting, build your bases and participate in industry/trade races, hunt for resources and actively engage in politics. Afterwards, when all the stages are reached, the game leaves you with nothing but maintaining what you have (which consumes more of your time in unfun way) and checking for siege engines from time to time. You may also go for double claims and you are sorted. Then... it's basically time to quit. The game takes more of your attention further into the world, while the level of fun you get gets less and less.

Instead of implementing new content that is accessible for everyone at any time, IMHO, the devs should work towards addressing the tension/release issue of the game. Fixing FEPs or stats gains would do little when people have to constantly pay attention to the game without anything to look forward to. Here is just an example how it could work:
