I don't want to offend but this is just plain stupid. How do credos in any way not affect balance much? Let's take a few examples. Gardener lets you plant bluebells, which were once rare forageables, allowing you to raise their quality and easily mass produce them. Strider gives you various movement buffs that you need in PvP unless you want to get slaughtered.

Sure, the first 3 starter credos have bonuses that don't impact balance that much, but the ones that are further down the line have great ones. Like I said, this is just stupid.

Already stores are selling buffs for character growth. Quality buffs are smaller than this, and everyone can get the same credos if they invest the time. Obviously, many quests of credos should be more expensive. I do not think that my opinion is excessive at present.

Only if you make them cost 1000 dollars per credo.

it would not be worse than hats , that's for sure ...
That being said , I'm glad they make money from hats but this idea seems just wrong .. ( even if worse exists as I mentionned)

If you want credo's work for it.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Every once in a great while, someone posts a C&I thread so bad that it sets a new bar for how awful C&I threads can be.

The bar was already so, so, so low. You managed, though.

You can't compare the character growth buffs you get from being verified/subscribed to credos because the two of them are completely different. The former is only obtained through paying, while the latter can only be obtained through investing time into it in-game. Allowing people to purchase an advantage that was once unobtainable through paying, would wreck the balance. Suddenly it's going to be mandatory to buy credos, and the original purpose of having implemented credos in the first place would be null.

Credos were always meant to take time and effort to complete. Either you put in the time to complete more and more quests, or you kill off your character so you can start fresh with the base amount of quests needed. Credos were never meant to be bought and this is still a horrible idea.

only sell the second tier credos and make it an ingame item we can trade for. or maybe an item that completes credo quests, and sellable in quantity
and sell the buffs from end of dungeons too. like the cry of the bat queen or whatever it is
or items that give exp like a wild dream. ancient roots would be great if sold in the store too

when bought, they should function like sub tokens and be found in hearthfires for easy use

totally wouldn't undermine the game and make it pay to win, just pay to shortcut. no lp or stat stuff though to keep the titans relevant
