Mr. William was talking to me yesterday about how he'd sell one of his many lambos for cosmetic outfits. I worry for the future of haven, since if his dream became a reality, jorb and loftar would take so many beach-side vacations that they couldn't bring themselves to develop anything for haven but new cosmetic outfits.

+0 although i don't think it should be high on the priority list.

and id rather that we be able to MAKE stuff like that as opposed to buying it.....

well the point of it is to wear it in combat and in other situations, i hate how everyone is forced to look the exact same with their armor sets. the only difference between people is the cloak/cape which are extremely limited

anyways obviously outfits are a lot more work to make than a hat, perhaps they should be like 50 dollars each and shouldnt be released nearly as frequently as the hats!!

im... at a loss for words. its like you love that the gaming industry is now run on scamming people out of money. 50 dollars for something that costs no money at all to infinitely replicate? you could buy an entire game for that amount.

you can bet that ill never pay that much just to show off, nor will i suggest haven to anyone if the devs adopt such ludicrous prices.

You realize how small the cost of infinitely replicating a digital or CD copy of a video game is, right?

comparing nothing to something is still comparing NOTHING to SOMETHING. and ive always been against digital only games.

ive been watching the game industry slowly rot since the early 2000s. we were all afraid that games would start charging you for end game items in MMOs where you normally have to work your ass off for. where the rich kids get all the cool shit. that happened. and its even worse, as now many games sell things that are literally impossible to earn legitimately in the game. see damn near anything hosted by nexon as an example. see also cosmic break. one of the best examples of not only pay to win, but GAMBLING where you don't even know if your going to get something worthwhile after you fork over you cash. its all RANDOM. and of course, the standard amount of power each part has keeps rising, so you are always incentivized to buy more.

we were afraid that games would be released in chapters where you never get to see the end, because the first few chapters didnt sell well enough. telltale games makes nothing but chapter based games. you dont get to buy a game, you buy pieces. unless its already finished. and nothing forces them to sell a "season pass"

we were afraid that we wouldnt have physical copies of our games. that if we lost a console, we lose every game we had. now, wal mart is selling codes for the same price as a physical game. and once those 360 and PS3 servers go down, we have no backups. we could lose every digital only game on our consoles.

what pissed me off just now wasnt just that childhoodobesity suggested more things that you can only get with real money, BUT WANTS US TO PAY RETARDEDLY HIGH PRICES. when you people dont just, tolerate this but WANT IT, you affect me. you ruin the entire industry. you fuck over my very simple desire of being able to purchase a FULL GAME. and not have to worry about not DLC "micro" transactions, and of course, losing games because they are digital only.

i had stupidly convinced myself that people are merely giving up and accepting it, but now your like a slave begging your master to WHIP YOU MORE.

TL'DR: 50 dollars for a tuxedo is retarded.
