make belts great again

poor man's = 2 slots
hunter's = 4
grand = 6
exquisite = 8
troll's = 12

we have more tools now and more in the future, think of the poor hearthling

9 is overpowered as is. i could get behind a new belt thats harder to make than exquisite thats 6 slots but as for this idea, no.

Increasing the capacity of the belts would be reasonable in case they would only fit into the inventory when empty (to remove the multiple belts in parallel exploit)...

I am indeed not completely happy with the ability to unequip non-empty belts, so it's not unlikely we'll change that sooner or later. In which case I also wouldn't mind making the belts larger.

But should one hearthling be the jack of all trades?
Maybe the 12 slots is all the tools that a hearthling needs at the time.

tbh i thought multiple belts were over due to outdated client, i guess is a matter of time for single belts

my main filled one troll belt and still some tools were in chests

They should be swappable (while filled) with a wardrobe.

I would prefer if there's would work like a hotkey bar by themselves though, similar to how factorio handles the hotkeys (user is able to reserve a slot for a specific item), so a visit to a wardrobe wouldn't imply having to setup all shortcuts again each time.
In which case I also wouldn't mind making the belts larger.

Please don't do one without the other.

The last time I really threw myself into the game, I was running four characters on 3 accounts, usually had two logged in at once. No, they don't have to. Frequently they are, though.

Don't forget to fix the thing where you use q10 rope from your belt to build high quality Potter's Wheel instead of hq one from inventory. Hasn't happened to me but I feel bad for people who it has.
