ReAdd Thickets

I think with the older content being rebuilt into the game, next world or newly generated map grids should have thickets or some sort of movement impairing terrain other than swamps.

hmm..., I'm all for it if they expanded it to incorporate some really nasty, high end mobs... Make it like an area that has a few slightly opened up areas deeper inside of it where these guys can be found. But I think they should make the world a bit bigger for it too.

i already suggested this and i think jorb said yes. i cant find the thread because the search feature is broken.

only if they add ogres with big clubs that smush you as you attempt to run away while being stamina drained to hell in the thicket. Of course once your dead, they have to skewer your hearthling on a spit roast and eat you, and use your bones as gear. Jorb where are our noob crushers dammit!

I agree that thickets should have something more going on in them than just forcing you to crawl and having to be completely cleared in order to build something. Ogre idea, as suggested, is bit too harsh in my opinion.

Fun Fact: despite being meant as hard-to-access Deep Woods, big thickets were bit of an prime real estate during Legacy. This was because they had zero zero cliffs (completely unremoveable and impassable in Legacy) meaning that once you cut down all the trees and plowed the terrain, you had huge chunk of flat, unobstructed land to build village on.

Alternatively instead of making a harder mob, use the area to create a new dungeon unique to thickets with the theme of lost fawns returning to their mothers. A nice newly themed beginner dungeon.

For the nostalgists, add the immense lag along with thiccettes as well
