Grappling hooks

Add grappling hooks.
You could throw them from your boat/ship to another one, then pull, which would result the two boats getting closer to each other and stop moving.
Then you could board the ship/boat and engage in combat with people on board.

Bad idea as it's only good for griefing, I liked your idea of stamina drain for rowing better.
