rework village perms

rework village perms

im see few problems here:
a. I wanna someone to recruit and give out privileges,
but "grant privileges" provides set "banish perm" himself, and kick out the lawspeaker
b. I wanna build open craft zone, but i cant give perm to make stockpile(or rebuild\expand production) withount perm to destroy everything.
same with open food zone: cant give perm to eat food without perm to steal tableware.
c. cannot become lawspeaker until get kill current, who is offline
d. cant be owner\guest in few villages, have few village chats

A. Why would you want to give privilege management (= lawspeaker role) to a new member?
B. Field Cairns solve most of this.
C. Yes, this sucks. Possibly a mechanic to challenge the current one could help, but the exploits are plenty so it's difficult to model. But there can be multiple lawspeakers (at least in function) now, cooperation of the original one required though.
D. That limitation is IMHO a good thing.

did u try it? have u rebuild 5+ cairns someday? cairn gives the same perm (build+destroy, not only build)...

Talked about this on the last stream I did. The problem from my vantage point lies in losing the intuitive sense of what a crime (vandalism, say) is, when it is split down to microscopic atoms of individual permissions to allow for better claim managment.

not need the special scent color or name, just make partitions for vandalism: build|destroy (same for thieft: rummage|steal|use ... "steal" for takeout from container/claim, "use" for eat|study, not for steal)
why stockpile making is "vandalism" ? mb merge it with "theft" (because u can take last one from SP , but you can't put it back)
