There are sound in the game, which we can hear when inspecting something.
Can you bind this sound on mining gem, aquiring pearl please? It will make me happier.

Don't think they'll add such thing. Typically this is a job for custom clients.

Bump, it become more problematic when i got miner credo.
Vaporizing tile can make my inventory overloaded and mined gem will drop on floor, i will not see it.
