Animal Shrines

I thought it would be a nice thing for hunters if it was possible to build shrines to improve the q of wild animals. Currently you can improve some animals via realm buffs but I was thinking of something more localised, and perhaps incorporating changes into the realm buffs.

Each animal would have its own shrine.
Level 1 of Heraldic swans would allow the construction of shrines to water fowl within the realm (for example).
Level 2-5 would increase the potentcy of the shrines.
Shrines would request items (like ancestors shrines do but in an interface everyone can access), but [at whatever rate] points/so much efficiency drains from it over time so it takes a lot of work to keep a shrine fully charged.
Shrines would require maintenance but could take a lot of decay hits.
Cover an area similar in size to a border cairn.
maximum bonus possible could be 100% animal q but this would require 5/5 for relevant buff as well as shrine being fully charged.

Backwater - Squirrels, Moles, Badgers, Slime, Grubs, Frogs, Toads, Rat, Beetles
Center of Learning - Bat, Lady Bird, Magpie, Butterfly, Dragonfly
Fecund Earth - Chickens, Fox, Grass Hoppers, Silk Moth(?)
Founding Mythos - Bear
Game Keeping - Deer, Moose, Boars, Lynx, Mammoth, Reindeer
Guarded Marches - Wild Horses
Heraldic Swans - Swans, Ducks
Milk & Honey - Wild Bees, Stalagoomba (for some reason.....)
Cuisine - Beaver, Otter, Centipede, Snails, Quail, Wood Grouse
Marriage of the Sea - Walrus, Seal, Crabs
Mountain Tradition - Mountain Goat, Golden Eagle, Boreworm, Ptarmigan
Myth of the Bull - Aurochs, Mouflon
Woodland Realm - Adders, Ants, Forest Lizard, Hedgehog, Wolverine, firefly

(No shrines to Trolls... maybe Mountain Tradition? I think it should be possible to build a shrine to all type of animals, someone might want better q Otters).

By building a shrine you are marking an area as good hunting ground to other people but you'll probably want their help to get the shrine fully charged resulting in higher qs for everyone but more people hunting in an area.

i believe they suggested totem poles in one of the streams, or maybe it was just a post. But i dont remember if it was related to this or not. But i could see this being incorporated into a quest giver to give them more significance. As in like praying to them or something could allow them to bestow gifts to the area in the form of a buff. Which might encourage others to protect them more, or destroy them, idk.

Cool idea. It would be nice to have something of the sort here in addition to the realm buffs so that people can individually improve these. :)

+1 to this or the Totem idea.

Ancient Finns used to hold feasts after bringing down a bear. While bear was feared for the danger it posed to both humans and livestock, people wished it's return for the meat, fur and other parts of the bear. Meat in particular may have been thought to contain vitality of the bear, separate thing of it's soul that was ushered to reincarnate. The head or skull was placed on young tree or pole to be picked clean by carrion birds.

Quest givers could start handing out rewards along the lines of *Next 3 fox +25% quality* and so on. Could do various animals and random quality boost. Could even extend this to farming, and mining. Encourages questing for the chance to improve the materials you can obtain.
