1x1 Container with small hitbox

Hello.

Would it be possible to add a container, able to hold only one small item please?
Also, its hitbox would be about the same as a display sign.
What do you think?
I actually need this for a quality of life thing. (A place to put my shears, other than my belt)

1 wooden block to make very small wooden cube that you can put one item in top of, would be cool!

I don't see the purpose myself really. Just use the 2x2 box.
